- Download the Nexus S 4G Rooting Package from androidadvices.com or anywhere you can find it to your computer / laptop you will have to put the downloaded file on your desktop so that you can easily locate the same.
- Now, once you finish the download, you will now have to extract the contents of the zip file which you can do by first right clicking on the Zip file and click on the option of “Extract Files”. As soon as you do so, you will have to enter the path as desktop and also you will have to enter the file name.
- Just in case if the password is prompted in the process of extracting files, you will have to enter the password as “androidadvices.com” without inverted comas. Once you enter the password, you will see that the file extraction process commences and ends within a minute.
- Now, all you need to do is to ensure that you go to the path Settings > applications > development and then you will have to enable USB Debugging. Once the USB Debugging Mode is turned On, you will now have to also ensure that the mounting of the SD Card is not done when you connect the phone to the PC.
- After this from the extracted files, you will have to open the “One click Nexus S 4G” folder and then you will find many files out of which you will have to install all the drivers which are required for the rooting process to start. For installing the drivers, you will have to open the executable file which is named as “PDANetA300” if your PC is the 32 bit or if your PC is of 64 bit then you will have to choose the executable file “PDANetA300x64” and just follow the onscreen instructions which gets popped up automatically.
- So, as soon as the drivers are installed successfully, you will now have to click on the “Run” file and then simply follow the on screen instructions to root your Nexus S 4G.
